Elizabeth Kahn, NP
Women's Health
About me
I’m Elizabeth (she/her), a born and bred New Yorker. For the past twenty years, I’ve been a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner providing sexual and reproductive health care for everyone, including teens and people in underrepresented communities. I believe that healthcare is a social justice issue, and am passionate about empowering my patients to take control of their health.
Approach to patient care
I believe that patients are the experts in their own bodies. My job is to be a source of medical information to help you live your best life. Trust me, most of the patients that I see do not look forward to having a vaginal exam! But, by partnering with and listening to you, I work to create a calm, supportive atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable sharing your life, your concerns and your questions with me, and, together, we can promote your health and wellness.
Bedside manner
Caring, gentle, non-judgmental, and trauma informed.
