Elizabeth Kahn, NP
I’m Elizabeth (she/her), a born and bred New Yorker. For the past twenty years, I’ve been a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner providing sexual and reproductive health care for everyone, including teens and people in underrepresented communities. I believe that healthcare is a social justice issue, and am passionate about empowering my patients to take control of their health.
Approach to patient care
I believe that patients are the experts in their own bodies. My job is to be a source of medical information to help you live your best life. Trust me, most of the patients that I see do not look forward to having a vaginal exam! But, by partnering with and listening to you, I work to create a calm, supportive atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable sharing your life, your concerns and your questions with me, and, together, we can promote your health and wellness.
Caring, gentle, non-judgmental, and trauma informed.
Sexual and Reproductive Health, Contraception, Vaginal infections, STI testing and treatment, UTIs, Colposcopy, Menopausal symptom management. LGBTQIA+ healthcare.
Crochet, Travel, Binge watching TV shows, spending time with my partner, daughter and two cats.
