Jillian Barovick, CNM
I'm a board-certified nurse midwife with over 10 years of clinical experience working in reproductive health care. Prior to becoming a midwife, I worked as a labor and delivery nurse at two large academic institutions in New York City. For the last 5 years, I’ve provided full-scope midwifery care, most recently at a public city hospital in the Bronx. In addition to caring for patients during pregnancy and childbirth, I also provided family planning, gynecological and abortion care.
I'm passionate about providing personal, unrushed, evidence-based reproductive and sexual health care to all patients seeking midwifery care.
Approach to patient care
I take a patient-directed, trauma-informed approach to patient care. As my patient, you can expect me to listen closely to your concerns and empower you to make healthcare decisions that work best for you and your body. Our entire team at Juno seeks to create an environment that's built on trust, open communication, and understanding.
