LaQuette Hunter, PA
Same-Day Care
About me
I am a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been in practice since 2011. I have 11 years of Emergency Medicine experience and am comfortable caring for children, teens, and adults. I am an Alabama native and a “Southern-Girl” through and through. The thing I love most about working in medicine is being able to educate and help people understand their bodies and the health issues that they may have. I am often told by family and friends that I “perk-up” when I talk about medicine and medically related topics. I strive daily to convey the same passion and excitement for medicine to my patients through the care that I provide.
Approach to patient care
My primary goal is to listen and understand while providing the patient with an inviting and trusting environment to express their health concerns. It is often said that “Laughter is the best medicine”. At the end of the visit, it is my hope that I have placed at least one smile on the patient’s face and instill confidence in the patient that I have provided the most appropriate treatment specific to their needs.
